Review for Nanban

I discovered Nanban a while ago and was immediately struck with both the complexity of the notes and how incredibly well it is blended. For myself the combination of warm spices with a subtle leather and even more subtle coffee note make it perfection. Although most likely a fall/winter scent, I tend to go back to it year round , dialing back in warmer months. It is definitely a classy and mature fragrance. To me it leans masculine but anyone can pull it off. This will likely stay amongst my most favourite scents! I look forward to exploring other fragrances from Arquisite.

Review for Nanban

Really like this scent. I have read a lot of reviews on this and agree with most. Like the dry down and the soft lingering notes. Smokey yes. Woody Yes. Warm and spicy yes. Even the leather. I really like how the sandalwood stays and the coffee mingles in. I turn to this more in the fall and I am a bit of an Arquiste fan, the other favourite being The Architects Club. Haven't like his more recent El as much - a little too commercial for my tastes.
