Christopher Chong, the creative director at Amouage said: “I interpret what I see and feel into scents. He also explained the use of ingredients: “Amouage has established an enviable reputation for re-inventing accustomed scents. Frankincense and Myrrh traditionally smell spiritual and religious but in Interlude, they have been reconstructed to feel contemporary yet sophisticated.”
Interlude Man is a spicy – woody fragrance that opens with zesty Bergamot, Oregano and Pimento Berry Oil, perpetuating intervals of conflict which are countered by aromatic notes of Amber, Frankincense, Opoponax, Cistus and Myrrh.
Eternal notes of Leather, Agarwood smoke, Patchouli and Sandalwood in the base add lasting layers of depth and texture.

Ambré et épicé avec un soupçon d’encens de haute qualité, Amouage Interlude Man est unique en son genre. Non seulement il s’agit d’une des rares fragrances ambrées que j’apprécie, son profil olfactif est si complexe que son odeur varie selon l’humeur de la personne qui le sent et non par les notes changeantes au travers des heures. Tantôt ressemblant à un « Pasha » de Cartier, tantôt à un « The One » de Dolce & Gabbana, tantôt aux célèbres fragrances « bleues » de Chanel ou Dior, en les mélangeant de la façon la plus habile possible, Interlude Man se démarque.
Seul hic, il ne s’agit pas d’une fragrance qui peut être utilisée à toutes les occasions. Son profil olfactif est trop complexe pour que ce parfum puisse être utilisé au travail ou dans la vie de tous les jours. C’est une fragrance d’occasions spéciales.
