Set beneath a sunlit canopy of lush tropical rainforest, the scent evokes an image of native citrus trees drawing life from nearby cascading fresh waterfalls. With its invigorating opening of Australian finger lime and coriander, Bohemian Lime mellows to reveal blissful grounding notes of woody vetiver and sandalwood.
Bohemian Lime is a carefree fragrance and an ode to Byron Bay, Australia’s premier free-spirited tropical enclave.
Australian Finger Lime:
Goldfield & Banks is the first niche perfume house to explore Australian Finger Lime and to add this botanical in its luxury perfume collection.
The Australian finger lime or caviar lime, is a thorny understorey shrub or small tree which occurs along the east coast of Australia, ranging mainly from South East Queensland to North-East New South Wales in tropical to subtropical rainforest communities (ex. Hinterland Byron Bay)
The elongated cylindrical fruits may be green, yellow, black, brown or purple producing flesh that is green, yellow or pink. The fruit has a high commercial value because of its distinctive caviar appearance and tangy taste, making it a desirable species of Citrus to grow.
The leaves and peel have many aromatic oil glands and reveal a uniquely distinctive citrus note and it is unknown in the perfumery industry.
Olfactory Description: Tropical – Punchy – Citrusy – Woody
Notes: Finger Lime (Australia), Coriander, Vetiver (Haiti), Cedarwood Atlas (Morocco)– Sandalwood (Australia)
Perfumer: Carine Certain Boin
Goldfield & Banks perfumes are formulated at approximately 20% concentration and are tested under extreme humid weather conditions.
