December 1978, Armando’s Le Club, Acapulco, Mexico.
Nighttime at Acapulco’s sultriest disco. Revelry on the dance floor.
In the heat of the moment, he smiles coyly and motions to the beach outside, hinting at a midnight swim. He unbuttons his shirt, flashing bronzed skin and the scent of his cologne, a virile muskiness loaded with Patchouli, Oakmoss and elegant woody notes.
A masculine impression of a day under the sun, intensified by the thrill of the night.
Greek laurel leaves, Clary Sage enriched, Moroccan Rosemary, Egyptian Geranium, Cardamom, Cinnamon leaves, Orange flower water, black Buckwheat Honey, Patchouli. Oakmoss, Vetyvert, castoreum. Civet, fougère accord.
Developed with Rodrigo Flores-Roux.
A wonderful modern animalic-fougere, who knew smelling clean could smell so dirty, and I mean dirty in the best way possible. This is a sexy scent and was inspired by "Nighttime at Acapulco’s sultriest disco" and I would say it lives up to it's inspiration. Animalic - I get a bold warm Civet note nicely blended with musky Castoreum. Fougere - Oakmoss, geranium, clery sage, vetiver, patchouli, are faintly honeyed and lovingly presented. Sexy yet soapy. This is a modern masterpiece throwing homage to classics such as Kouros. This fragrance shows its voice as your body warms it up, leaving you alluring yet smelling clean. This would be suitable for all seasons, I would use a lighter hand in warm weather and a more liberal one in cool weather. Excellent longevity and generous sillage. I was excited to sample this one with my last order, and immediately knew this will be a future purchase.
A modern take on the classic fougere style of fragrance. Fantastic scent
