J'ai découvert cette fragrance à New York à la boutique Atelier Cologne. Je n'aime généralement pas la rose et malgré tout je suis littéralement tombée en amoureuse de cette fragrance ennivrante. Un coup de coeur!
Rose Anonyme, a Turkish Rose garden, a fragrance rich and deep, but restrained. There may come a time, when I start to tire of rose based scents, but Rose Anonyme won't be the scent to make that happen. This is a wonderful rose and oud scent - with a touch of patchouli tossed in for that extra note and to carry the rose notes. This is a scent that seems simple, but has surprising depth once worn. The roses settle into a soft warm essence with a wonderful patchouli note, Easy to wear, indeed, and could easily be considered a unisex scent. As it develops, the scent lightens out, and never feels heavy as some scents with a patchouli base can. The rose notes , initially highlighted by bergamot, develop to a heady, rose-peony quality, and eventually to a dusky rosewood like feel brought about by the oud, which adds a wonderful deep note to the drydown that calls to mind incense, rosewood, and sandal wood.
Will this unseat my beloved Hammam Bouquet as my go-to rose scent? Mayhaps.. this is a contender.
I usually don't like rose perfumes as it reminds me of my grandmother, but I do love Atelier Cologne and since this is a cologne, it has a modern twist to what would usually be a classic scent. Still not sure I would wear this myself, but I would buy it as a gift for my mom.
