Giardini di Toscana

In 1942, Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a bottega (small shop) in a picturesque medieval village in Tuscany's Casentino Valley. Inside, you can still find the recipe book that Giovan wrote about his experience as a pharmacist, work which soon developed into creating homemade fragrances.

Giardini di Toscana is the natural evolution of this family-run business, with granddaughter Silvia now the creator-composer of their perfumes. She finds inspiration for her scents in her gardens, and designs fragrances to evoke her olfactory memories. From the hypnotic scent of flowers to her grandmother's freshly baked biscuits, from school pencils to energizing citrus fruits, from the intangible undergrowth of a local forest to the intense musk of the perfumer's palette.
